GENERAL INFORMATION

Steering with the hydraulic amplifier

1–pump of the amplifier of a steering;
2–a tank with liquid for the hydraulic amplifier of a steering;
3–oil pipelines and hoses;

4–steering transfer;
5–steering column;
6–steering wheel.

The steering with the hydraulic amplifier consists of the following elements:

      – steering transfer;
      – pump of the amplifier of a steering;
      – popolnitelny tank;
      – hydraulic lines.

The amplifier of a steering uses the hydraulic pressure created by the pump of the amplifier of a steering, for reduction of effort of a steering wheel demanded for turn.

The pump of the amplifier of a steering is established on the forward party of the engine.

The pump of lopastny type is put in action by a belt from a pulley of a cranked shaft. At operation of the engine liquid gets the pump from a popolnitelny tank, compressed and moves in steering transfer. Pressure of liquid is regulated by the regulating valve located in the pump of the amplifier of a steering.
