14.30. Rear bumper

GENERAL INFORMATION

Rear bumper

1–overlay of a bumper;
2–bolt of fastening of a bumper;
3–foamy absorber of energy;
4–amplifier of a bumper.

The rear bumper consists of three parts: overlays of a bumper, foamy absorber of energy and amplifier of a bumper.

The slip is made of polypropylene. The foamy absorber of energy is made of expanded polystyrene.

The amplifier of a bumper is made of metal. The foamy absorber of energy is located between an overlay of a bumper and the amplifier.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn out three screws, fixing the left back mudguard to protection of an arch of a wheel.
2. Remove the right mudguard.
3. Turn out three screws, fixing the right back mudguard to protection of an arch of a wheel.
4. Turn out one screw of fastening of the right side of a bumper
5. Repeat operations on the left side of a bumper.
6. Turn out nuts on the left side in a luggage carrier.
7. Repeat operation on the right side.
8. Release eight clamps of fastening of the top part of a bumper.
9. Turn out two bolts of fastening from the left back support of a bumper.

10. Repeat operation on the right side.

11. Remove a rear bumper.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Establish a rear bumper in sequence, return to removal.

Inhaling moment: 32–47 N • m

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Check an overlay of a rear bumper on absence of damages and reliability of its fastening.
