GENERAL INFORMATION

Power failure check on connections of plugs of the storage battery will allow to define resistance size between a wire connected to the plug of the storage battery and the plug of the storage battery.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect "positive" щуп the voltmeter to a wire connected to the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Connect "negative" щуп the voltmeter to the negative plug of the storage battery.
3. Include ignition and watch voltmeter indications. If the voltmeter shows tension existence, means, there is no reliable contact between a wire and the plug of the storage battery.
4. Connect "positive" щуп the voltmeter to a wire connected to the positive plug of the storage battery.
5. Connect "negative" щуп the voltmeter to the positive plug of the storage battery.
6. Include ignition and watch voltmeter indications. If the voltmeter shows tension existence, means, there is no reliable contact between a wire and the plug of the storage battery.
7. Connect the voltmeter for power failure measurement between the positive plug of the storage battery and contact of the traction relay to which the wire from the storage battery is connected.
8. Include ignition and a starter and watch voltmeter indications. If tension exceeds 0,2 In, it is necessary to clear and draw in contacts of the socket and to repeat check. If tension still exceeds 0,2 In, it is necessary to replace a wire connecting the positive plug of the storage battery and the traction relay of a starter.
9. Connect the voltmeter for power failure measurement between the negative plug of the storage battery and the block of cylinders of the engine.
10. Include ignition and a starter and watch voltmeter indications. If tension exceeds 0,2 In, it is necessary to clear and reliably to tighten wire fastening to the block of cylinders. If tension still exceeds 0,2 In, it is necessary to replace a wire connecting the negative plug of the storage battery and the block of cylinders of the engine.
11. Connect "positive" щуп the voltmeter to the starter case. Connect "negative" щуп the voltmeter to the negative plug of the storage battery.
12. Include ignition and a starter and watch voltmeter indications. If tension exceeds 0,2 In, the starter means is unreliably fixed on the block of cylinders of the engine.
