5.19. Fuel pump

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. An additional wire connect FUEL PUMP plugs (the fuel pump) and In + the diagnostic socket.
2. Uncover a toplivonalivny mouth of a fuel tank.
3. Include ignition.
4. Define, whether the fuel pump works, listening to noise created by the pump through a toplivonalivny mouth of a fuel tank.
5. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.

Prevention

The fuel system remains under pressure even after engine switching off therefore before a detachment of pipelines, it is necessary to remove pressure in fuel system.


6. An additional wire connect FUEL PUMP plugs (the fuel pump) and In + the diagnostic socket.
7. Include ignition.

8. Check the maximum pressure created by the fuel pump.

The maximum pressure created by the fuel pump: 450–650 kPas

9. If the pressure created by the fuel pump does not correspond demanded, replace the block of supply of fuel.
