9.8. Adjustment of a tightness of bearings of a back wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Be convinced that the parking brake is completely released.
2. Remove a wheel.
3. Remove a dustproof cap.
4. Turn a brake drum and be convinced that there is no jamming of brakes.

5. Tighten a nut of fastening of bearings.

Inhaling moment: 25–29 N • m

6. Weaken a nut so that bearings could be turned by hand.
Before definition of a preliminary tightness of the bearing, measure effort size from a sealing ring which is necessary for adding to a demanded tightness.
7. Measure size of effort created by a sealing ring.
8. Measure the moment of a provorachivaniye of a brake drum at the moment of the beginning of a provorachivaniye of a drum and write down the received value.
9. Add size of effort created by a sealing ring in the previous step to size of 2,6-8,5 N. The received value is regarded as a standard preliminary tightness of the bearing.

10. Slowly turn a nut before receiving a standard preliminary tightness of the bearing.

11. Hammer a nut fillet into an axis groove
12. Establish a dustproof cap.
13. Establish a wheel.
