9.4. Replacement of a power shaft

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car and fix on support.
	2. Merge oil from a transmission.
3. Remove a wheel.
4. Unbend a fillet and weaken, but do not turn out, a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
Prevention When weakening a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave press a brake pedal to prevent provorachivany wheels and a power shaft.
	5. Unscrew nuts of fastening of longitudinal draft of a forward suspension bracket.
	6. Turn out a coupling bolt of fastening of the spherical hinge to a rotary fist.
7. Mount wring out the bottom lever down and separate a hinge pin from a rotary fist.
Prevention Do not damage a protective cover of the spherical hinge.
	8. Disconnect an earring of the stabilizer of cross-section stability from the bottom cross-section lever of a forward suspension bracket.
	9. Insert mount between the internal CV JOINT of a power shaft and a transmission and easy blows on mount take a power shaft from a transmission.
Prevention At extraction of a power shaft from a transmission at once do not apply big efforts, and ongoing efforts increase gradually.
	10. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave of a forward wheel.
	11. Take a power shaft from a nave of a forward wheel.
Prevention At extraction of a power shaft be careful not to damage an oil sealing ring. If the power shaft densely sits in a nave of a forward wheel, spray propitochny aerosol solvent on area шлицов and then repeatedly screw a nut with a fillet so that it settled down flush with a shaft end face. Striking on a nut with a brass hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave.
	12. Take a power shaft from a transmission. Remove a lock ring from the internal CV JOINT of a power shaft.
	13. Establish instead of power shafts special caps OK130 111 002 in order that semi-axial gear wheels of differential were not displaced.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Establish a new lock ring on the internal end of a power shaft.
2. Grease the end of the power shaft established in a transmission.
3. A push insert a power shaft into a transmission, thus a cut of a lock ring should settle down from above.
Prevention Do not damage a protective cover of the CV JOINT and an oil sealing ring at installation of a power shaft in a transmission.
4. Grease the end of the power shaft established in a nave of a forward wheel.
5. Insert a power shaft into a nave of a forward wheel.
Prevention At installation of a power shaft in a nave of a forward wheel do not damage an oil sealing ring.
	6. By hand screw a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave of a forward wheel.
7. Establish pins of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever in a rotary fist.
Prevention Do not damage a protective cover of the spherical hinge.
8. Insert a bolt and screw a nut of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket. Inhaling moment: 54–68 N • m
	9. Tighten a nut with a fillet of fastening of a power shaft and hammer a nut fillet into a groove of a power shaft. Inhaling moment: 157–234 N • m
10. Freely screw nuts of fastening of an earring of the stabilizer. Finally tighten nuts on the car standing on wheels. Inhaling moment: 43–60,8 N • m
	11. Establish longitudinal draft of a forward suspension bracket and fix a nut, having tightened it the demanded moment. Inhaling moment: 118–147 N • m
12. Establish a forward wheel.
Prevention After installation pull a power shaft outside and be convinced that it is reliably fixed by a lock ring. Do not hammer a nut fillet into a groove of a power shaft the sharp tool. Be convinced that the nave of a forward wheel easily turns by hand.
	13. Fill in oil in a transmission.
