10.5. Rack of a forward suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

Rack of a forward suspension bracket

1–nut;
2–nut of fastening of draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability;
3–clip of fastening of a brake hose;
4–MacPherson rack;
5–draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability;
6–bolt;
7–nut.

Rack of a forward suspension bracket

1–cover;
2–nuts;
3–basic plate;
4–top support of a rack;
5–rack bearing;
6–top nest of a spring;
7–top laying of a spring;
8–buffer;
9–cylindrical spring;
10-MacPherson rack.

Removal

Lift a forward part of the car and fix on support.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a clip of fastening of a brake hose to a rack of a forward suspension bracket.
2. Disconnect a brake hose and an ABS sensor wire from a rack arm.
3. Unscrew a nut of fastening of draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability to a rack of a forward suspension bracket.
4. Disconnect the hinge of draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability from a forward suspension bracket.
5. Turn out nuts and remove bolts of fastening of a rack of a forward suspension bracket to a rotary fist.
6. Unscrew nuts of fastening of the top part of a rack of a forward suspension bracket to a body.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix a rack in a vice.

Prevention

Close sponges of a vice plates from soft материа


2. Weaken a lock nut on two-three turns.

Prevention

Do not turn out completely a nut.


3. The special adaptation OK2A1 341 001А compress a spring of a rack of a forward suspension bracket.
4. Turn out a lock nut and remove a washer.
5. Remove the top support of a rack of a forward suspension bracket.
6. Remove the bearing from a shock-absorber rod.
7. Remove the top nest of a spring, the top laying of a spring and a cylindrical spring.
8. Remove an emphasis from a shock-absorber rod.

Prevention

At spring replacement smoothly weaken the adaptation for spring compression.

Dissolve adaptation captures so that the new spring was freely established in the adaptation in too situation in which there was a removed spring. Compressing the adaptation smoothly compress a new spring.


9. Before assembly check a condition of details of a rack.

Check

Check the following places and restore or, if necessary, replace details:

      – leakages of liquid or noise from MacPherson rack;
      – wear or damage of the top support of a rack;
      – damage or big люфт bearing.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On a rod of the shock-absorber establish the buffer.
2. Establish a cylindrical spring, having established the bottom end of a spring in dredging.
3. Establish the top nest of a spring.
4. Establish the top support of a rack in its initial situation.
5. Establish a basic plate.
6. Establish a washer and a lock nut of a rod and tighten it a little.
7. Remove the special adaptation OK2A1 341 001А for spring compression.

Prevention

Check that the cylindrical spring is correctly placed in the top and bottom nests.


8. Close sponges of a vice plates from a soft material and fix the top support of a rack in a vice. Tighten a lock nut of a rod the demanded moment.

Inhaling moment: 55–68 N • m

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a rack with a basic plate under an arch of a forward wheel.
2. Establish the top support of a rack into place in a body and fix nuts.

Inhaling moment: 46–63 N • m

3. Establish a rotary fist in the lower part of a rack and fix two bolts and nuts.

Inhaling moment: 103–123 N • m

4. Establish draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability on an arm and fix a nut.

Inhaling moment: 46–60,8 N • m

5. Establish on an arm a brake hose and a wire of the ABS sensor and fix a clip.
