1. Disconnect a pressure head hose from the pump and connect the device for measurement of pressure of OK201 323 AA0 between a hose and the pump. Inhaling moment: 39–59 N • m

Prevention
Before a detachment of a hose put labels for its correct repeated installation.

| 2. Insert the thermometer into a popolnitelny tank of the amplifier of a steering. |
3. Remove air from hydraulic system of the amplifier of a steering as follows:
– check liquid level in a popolnitelny tank and, if necessary, finish it to the normal;
– lift the car and fix on support;
– turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop 10 times;
– repeatedly check liquid level in a popolnitelny tank and, if necessary, finish it to the normal;
– repeat steps 3 and 4 until liquid level in a tank is not stabilized;
– start up the engine and leave it to work at frequency of idling;
– turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop 10 times;
– check that liquid in a popolnitelny tank does not foam.
If liquid foams, means in it there is an air and it is necessary to remove it, for what repeat steps 2–7. |
Prevention
If liquid still foams, check tightness of hydraulic system of the amplifier of a steering.

| 4. Check temperature of liquid of hydraulic system of the amplifier of a steering. If the temperature is not in limits of 50-60 °C, turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop until the temperature of liquid will not reach demanded value. |
Prevention
To read value of pressure, the valve of the analyzer is necessary for closing for short time. If the valve to leave closed during more than 15 with, the temperature of liquid will increase excessively and will damage the oil pump.

5. Completely close the valve. Increase frequency of rotation of the engine to 1000–1500 mines-1 and measure the pressure of liquid created by the pump. Pressure of liquid created by the pump of the amplifier of a steering: 7,358–7,848 kPas

If pressure is in demanded limits, it is possible to carry out further checks.
If pressure is lower than demanded values, repair or replace the pump of the amplifier of a steering.
If pressure is higher than demanded values, check a contamination of tubes and repair or replace them or the pump of the amplifier of a steering. |
| 6. Completely open the valve. Increase frequency of rotation of the engine to 1000–1500 mines-1 and measure the pressure of liquid created by the pump. |
Prevention
To exclude damages, do not hold the steering wheel turned against the stop during more than 15 pages.

| 7. Turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop several times and measure the pressure of liquid created by gear wheels of the pump. If pressure is lower demanded, replace or repair steering transfer. Pressure of liquid created by gear wheels of the pump of the amplifier: 7,358–7,848 kPas

| 8. Remove the device for pressure measurement. Establish on a place and fix a pressure head hose. Tighten hose connection by the demanded moment. Inhaling moment: 16–24 N • m
|
| 9. Remove the thermometer and remove air from hydraulic system of the amplifier of a steering. |
