5.6. Detonation sensor

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the electric socket of the sensor of a detonation and remove the detonation sensor. Fix the detonation sensor in a vice and connect the voltmeter between plugs 1 and 2.
2. With a hammer sharply strike on a vice and watch voltmeter indications.
3. Check that the sensor of a detonation gives out peak tension (less than 1 In).
4. If peak tension is absent, replace the detonation sensor.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an arm of support of an inlet collector.
2. Disconnect a plait of wires of the sensor of a detonation.
3. Turn out a bolt and remove the detonation sensor.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the sensor of a detonation and fix it a bolt.
2. Establish a plait of wires of the sensor of a detonation.
3. Establish an arm of support of an inlet collector.
