13.12. Repair of the working brake cylinder

GENERAL INFORMATION

Working brake cylinder

1–dustproof cap;
2–pumping union;
3–dustproof cover;
4–piston;
5–sealing ring;
6–sealing ring of the piston;

7–case of the working brake cylinder;
8–spring;
9–sealing ring of the piston;
10-piston;
11-dustproof cover.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove dustproof covers from two parties of the working brake cylinder.

2. Pushing via the case of the working brake cylinder remove pistons and a spring.

3. Remove from pistons sealing rings.

4. Remove a dustproof cap, turn out the union of pumping and take a steel ball.

Prevention

Do not use oil, solvent, kerosene or gasoline for cleaning of details of the working brake cylinder. At their use as clearing means, their remains can remain on details and further damage rubber consolidations.

5. Wash out support details in pure denatured alcohol and drain them a stream of the compressed air.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish on pistons sealing rings.

2. Grease all internal details with pure brake liquid.

3. Establish a spring, pistons and dustproof covers.

4. Establish a steel ball, screw the union of pumping and establish a dustproof cap.
