8.2.15. Oil pump

GENERAL INFORMATION

Oil pump

1–a surface of a kacheniye of the bearing (replace if necessary);
2–sealing rings (replace);
3–cover of the oil pump;
4–flange of the oil pump;
5–internal rotor;
6–external rotor;
7–a washer (replace);
8–spring;
9–bypass pressure valve;
10-casing of the oil pump;
11-stopper.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a surface of a kacheniye of the bearing.
2. Remove four sealing rings.
3. In sequence given on drawing, evenly, for some passes, weaken and turn out bolts. Uncover the oil pump from a casing of the oil pump.

Prevention

Do not use the puncher for removal of external and internal rotors of the oil pump.


4. Note the mutual provision of external and internal rotors and remove them from a casing of the oil pump.
5. Turn out a stopper and remove a washer, a spring and the pressure valve.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish an external rotor and an internal rotor.
2. Measure a gap between a casing of the oil pump both external and internal rotors not less than in four places on their circles.

Gap
Nominal gap: 0,02–0,04 mm
Maximum permissible gap: 0,05 mm

3. If the gap differs from demanded, replace the oil pump assembled.
4. Measure a gap between a ledge of the oil pump and an internal rotor at least in four places and calculate average value.

Internal diameter
The nominal: 0,04–0,115 mm
Maximum permissible: 0,125 mm

5. If the gap differs from demanded, replace the oil pump assembled.

Spring check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the sizes of a spring in a free condition.

Sizes of a spring:
External diameter: 11,8 mm
Length: 53,0 mm
Number of rounds: 12,0
Diameter of a wire of a spring: 1,2 mm

2. If the sizes of a spring differ from demanded, replace the oil pump assembled.

Check of the valve of pressure

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure external diameter of the valve of pressure.

Nominal diameter: 14,00 mm
Maximum permissible diameter: 13,98 mm

2. If diameter less maximum permissible, replace the oil pump assembled.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish bypass the valve of pressure and a spring in a casing of the oil pump and check that the valve moves freely, without jammings.
2. Establish a new washer and a stopper.

Inhaling moment: 32–47 N • m

3. Combine the labels put before removal, and establish external and internal rotors.
4. Establish a flange of the oil pump.
5. Establish a cover on a casing of the oil pump.

6. Gradually, in a certain sequence tighten six bolts of fastening of a cover.

Inhaling moment: 8,1–10,9 N • m

7. Establish a shaft of the oil pump and rotating rotors of the pump check operation of the pump.
8. Establish four sealing rings.
9. Put a layer of technical vaseline on surfaces of a kacheniye of the bearing and establish it on a cover of the oil pump.

External diameter of a surface of a kacheniye of the bearing: 88.0 mm
