8.2.6. Check of level and liquid replacement in an automatic transmission
GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

The car should stand on an equal horizontal surface.

Check of level of liquid

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Tighten the parking brake and block wheels an emphasis for an exception of a kacheniye of the car.
2. Start up the engine before transmission warming up to temperature 60~70°C.
3. At the working engine press a pedal of a brake and consistently move the selector lever from a position P to positions R> N> D> 1> 2> D> N> R> P, holding the lever in each position no more than 3 pages.
Prevention

Use measurements on COOL scale (20°C) only as rough value.
4. Check level of liquid which should be between HOT labels (65°C). If necessary add necessary amount of demanded liquid.

Liquid type for an automatic transmission: SK ATF SP–III or DIAMOND ATF SP–III

Check of a condition of liquid

Prevention

Carefully check a liquid condition in an automatic transmission and define, whether really the automatic transmission should be dismantled.

If liquid in an automatic transmission is polluted and burned slightly, it indicates the burned plates or brake tapes.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check color of liquid in an automatic transmission.
2. Check liquid in an automatic transmission on presence of unusual smells. For definition of change of color and a smell of liquid compare it to fresh liquid.

Liquid replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the pallet for collecting liquid under a transmission.
2. Turn out a stopper and merge all liquid from an automatic transmission.
3. Screw a stopper into place.

Inhaling moment: 39–54 N • m

4. Take щуп for measurement of level of liquid and fill in necessary amount of demanded liquid.

Liquid type for an automatic transmission: SK ATF SP–III or DIAMOND ATF SP–III
Capacity: 5,9 l

Prevention

Do not pour liquid above HOT label.
5. Check liquid level in an automatic transmission.
